the authority volumes 1-3

wow is the only way to describe one of the most powerful supergroups in comics history..forget jla,xmen or the avengers...

these guys dont F around, they kill the bad guys, topple regimes, ran the world at one point. the first volume sets up a very big screen action orientated movie like vibe but turns really dark and badly drawn in the second and 3rd volumes - although i didnt mind the 3rd volume all that much.

again its interesting take on modern heroes in a modern/futuristic world where the good guys kill to maintain order, social problems including drugs and homosexual relationships which a very non liberal america frown on. (includes 2 characters who seem very much like 2 major DC characters)

still a great read, over the top action and im surprised they want to make a jla movie and not an authority movie...
