I watched this on DVD yesterday afternoon.
It was OK. There were scary bits, cool graphic gory bits and some good build up scenes. It was a bit slow to start off, but that was one of the good things. It made you wonder where the film was heading, as it seemed supernatural, but then it just became a nonsense gore fest. (cool!)
This film is about a bunch of female friends who are adventure junkies. The main character is a newly widowed chick. At the beginning of the movie you see her husband and daughter impaled during a car crash which was pretty cool. One year after that horrific crash, a bunch of her female friends go to the middle of some forest to go deep cave exploring. They all thought they were going to this tourist cave, but they ended up being misled by the other main chick, Natalie Mendoza (some filo-aussie who once tried to be a pop star with her sis) to some other cave that no-one has conquered before as she wanted to be the first to conquer it.
Soon do they all realise that this cave is dangerous and full of these freakish creatures that eat humans and rip and eat human's flesh like chicken wings. They are blind and can only sense movement be sound. It gets silly towards the end, but for a British horror film (don't know many) it's an entertaining watch. The first scene where the devour the first victim is worth the watch!
