rambo 3

the name says it all. the third installment that comes with all the trappings of a sequel. bigger badder and more nonsensical action. taking place in Afghanistan, rambo is forced to go in a rescue his superior officer that has been in the last 2 films. although the reason is plausible, why the hell would rambo save the life of this guy who although showed some compassion to his character in the prequels practically left him to die on 2 separate occasions??

3/10 - unfortunately this last installment falls very flat of what was a profitable franchise. although i respect stallones tenacity and control over his projects he and arnie will always an forvever known as playing over the top, unkillable action heroes (which is made even funnier when van damme in an interview compared him self to the 2)
