this has one great special feature with spawns creator todd mcfarlane about his thoughts on spawn, the franchise and about the entertainment business - other than that theres nothing much to this so called directors cut...i vaguely recall the movie but as i watched it again there was a lot of familiar scenes so im not sure what they restored.
in summary this movie is nothing more than a series of nonsensical action and b grade acting with some decent special effects (but by todays standard very outdated).
6/10 although a good adaptation of a hit comic its more the crow than it is xmen(in the sequel, i would very much like to see heaven interfering with the spawn as they are unsure of his agenda, forcing him to side with the earth)
